Tony Halliday of Subsea Minerals provided consultancy services to Statoil through RPS Energy for a study to assess and select a sea bed core drill appropriate for carrying out a geotechnical investigation on the Luva Field during August 2009. The project led to the first North Sea deployment of a seabed geotechnical drilling system. The system called PROD was supplied by Benthic Geotech of Australia. Tony also attended the offshore campaign as Clients Rep. The ground breaking project achieved all that Statoil had hoped it would.
